LINGL celebrates its 80th company anniversary

13. Feb. 2018

This year, the company Hans Lingl Anlagenbau und Verfahrenstechnik GmbH & Co. KG looks back on a company history of 80 years full of stability and changes, full of tradition and innovation. What began in 1938 in a bicycle workshop with a patent on the engobing of roofing tiles is today an internationally successful and diversified company group with more than 500 employees around the globe.

LINGL used this anniversary as an opportunity to celebrate this anniversary with an “open door day” inviting employees, commercial partners and other guests from near and far.

The official part of the program began with the formal and welcoming speeches of Hugo Schneider (Managing Director), Frank Appel (Associate), Michael Winterhoff (Chairman of the Advisory Board), Hubert Hafner (Chief Administrative Officer of the Landkreis of Günzburg), Hubert Fischer (First Mayor of the City of Krumbach), Anton Hörl (Chairman of “BZV”), Stephanie Ammicht (Managing Director of “bayme”) and Oliver Stipar (IHK Managing Director for the region of Schwaben).

In the course of the open day, the numerous visitors were given the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the plant manufacturer by participating in one of the informative factory tours and to get some interesting impressions about the innovative working atmosphere at LINGL. Adults and children had a lot of fun and got in the right mood while enjoying the delicious food and the various celebration attractions including among others a sports car driving simulator, goal wall shooting and a balloon artist. The musical entertainment on the open day was ensured by the local orchestra “Musikverein Attenhausen“ playing traditional Bavarian folk music. Furthermore, thanks to the wide range of food and beverages, there was no lack of culinary delights so that no guest had to go home hungry.

LINGL was pleased with the enormous appreciation and the numerous interested persons and families that visited the successful event and spent nice and entertaining hours at LINGL.
