HANS LINGL ANLAGENBAU & VERFAHRENSTECHNIK GMBH & CO.KG nowadays is the leading supplier of machines and plants for the ceramic building materials industry including the supply of turn-key plants for the production of wall bricks, roof tiles, split tiles, stoneware pipes and refractory products. Their reliability and high production quality have become trend-setting.

Founded as „one-man business“ in 1938 LINGL employ about 720 associates in their plants today, together with their subsidiaries at home and abroad.

According to a survey of the Malik Management Zentrum St. Gallen in May 2005 the plants of LINGL dispose of the best competitive advantages regarding production quality, maintainability and longevity.

The turnover of the LINGL group of companies amounts to about 160 million Euros.


OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

As manufacturers of machines and plants for the production of ceramic building materials which are approved with regard to building biology and which have been used by people for thousands of years, environmental protection is already programmatically anchored in our product environment. Our commitment towards our customers, our associates and the following generations is to advance environmental protection in our company actively.

Anticipatory environmental protection in our plants means to us to look at our processes from a holistic perspective, to analyse and to improve them. By an efficient planning we want any environmental impact never to arise and to minimise impacts which cannot be avoided.

We observe the laws and provisions as well as the regulatory requirements and, in addition to that, engage to continuously improve the environmental protection in our plants. When implementing any action with regard to environmental protection we are always geared to the best available and economically applicable technology.

A successful environmental protection is only possible by motivating the associates. Therefore we have added the topic environmental protection and energy efficiency to our internal improvement system. By using all existing media we will inform our associates continuously about the topics of environmental protection and thus contribute to the sustainability of the project ÖKOPROFIT (ecological project for integrated environmental technology).

We will discuss the environmental impact of our company in a factual manner with customers, business partners, authorities and our neighbours and will have an open mind about proposals for improvement.

When procuring our raw, auxiliary and operating materials we keep to ecological criteria as far as possible and economically justifiable and prefer suppliers which give a similar high priority to environmental protection as we do.
